LOGIA expands with Direct Loading functionality
Avoid space problems in the warehouse’s transit area by loading large orders directly into the carrier’s truck.
Many companies experience the challenge of having a goods shipping volume that exceeds the capacity of the transit area. For these companies, it is especially critical that the orders are handled efficiently, and that use of the transit area is optimized.
For larger shipments, it can be an advantage to have an empty trailer delivered by the carrier, into which pre-packaged pallets can be loaded directly. The new Direct Loading functionality makes it possible to skip the ranking area, so that the relevant orders are picked in the correct sequence, and the pallets are directed straight to the carrier’s trailer.
This means that shipments can be handled faster and simpler, and that there are no space problems in the transit area.
